An awareness of water & energy consumption, toxic chemicals and waste landfill now steer every business decision we make. We’re striving to have the least amount of impact on the environment, community and business world, and working within the Circles of a Sustainability model, we have Four Pillars of Sustainability:

  1. Environmental Responsibility
Ecological balance, efficient use of natural resources, renewable energy.
  2. Cultural Vitality
    Wellbeing, creativity, identity and diversity.
  3. Social Equity
    Human rights, justice and participation.
  4. Economic Health
Material prosperity, education and employment, fair trade.

Environmental issues in our industry are:

  • Chemical Products
  • Air pollution
  • Water usage
  • Energy Consumption
  • Plastic & Aluminium
  • Recycling
  • Diversity
  • Stress

These are the partners we partner with to reduce our carbon emissions and aim towards low impact on the environment in our industry.

OPC logo

Organethic Pure Care (OPC) โ€” Our Sustainable Partner

At Ora Hair, weโ€™re proud to be UK ambassadors for Organethic Pure Care (OPC) โ€” a brand that shares our passion for sustainability, integrity, and high-performance haircare.

OPC is leading a new wave of eco-conscious innovation with Green Polyethylene (Green PE) โ€” packaging made from sugarcane thatโ€™s carbon negative, renewable, and fully recyclable.

Why we love it:

  • Better for the planet: Sugarcane absorbs more COโ‚‚ than is released during production, helping reduce greenhouse gases.
  • Sustainably grown: Itโ€™s fast-growing, needs little water, and doesnโ€™t rely on fossil fuels.
  • Easily recyclable: Green PE fits into existing recycling systems without compromise.

Over the next two years, OPC will complete its transition to Green PE across all product lines, with a refill system already in development for 2027.

By partnering with OPC, weโ€™re taking another step forward in our mission to offer beautiful results that respect both people and the planet.
